i've been having a conversation with a young jw on twitter and have, once again, come up against beliefs that do not match up with official watchtower doctrine.
if you like you can read the full thread here (you'll need to click on some comments to open it all up).. anyway the upshot is that this jw, and many like her, believe that only truly wicked people will be killed at armageddon - not innocent babies and children or anyone who "didn't know better" perhaps because they didn't get a witness.
it's as though they cannot accept the obvious injustice of jehovah's morality.. this jw teenager believes that all these non-jw's who survive armageddon will get their chance to prove their loyalty during the 1000 year reign of christ - again, not a watchtower teaching.. i don't really have a question to ask, this is just an observation.
I remember, several years ago, a "young" elder looked me straight in the eyes and asked me how I could have married with a person Jehovah would cut off when the end comes... Just because I married a non witness woman.
This kind of reflexion made me leave this high-loving truth (cult) several months later, without a little regret !

i notice that several of the congs i've been to seem to have a majority of the male roles performed by older men.
very few young men are wanting to be ms or elders etc.
it also seems like very few young people are being pioneers either.. would you agree with this?
young, jobless (or part-time windows cleaners, nothing under their hat... and regular pioneers! Perfect candidates for quick appointment! Others have gone !
i had it confirmed today that 5 kingdom halls on one site in new addington are for sale.
price being asked £3.5 million.. every witness in london worked on that site.
am in shock.
on Google maps, it's noticed "closed"...

that video was very important to my definitive decision of leaving the "spiritual paradise", after being PIMO for about 10 years.
i was talking to a friend who is an elder in a congregation near belfast city over in northern ireland.
he was telling me that several of the sisters wanted to put fresh flowers in the hall on a weekly basis just to pretty the place up.
he said "sure, why not, it's a great idea, and the congregation will reimburse the costs as long as they aren't too expensive.
all that reminds me when singing the "kingdom songs" with a piano or other instrument was strictly forbidden !
do you think the watchtower will sell off any more kingdom hall after the 3,000 have been sold of and why do you think that.
